Planning has begun for a number of new schools in the Wyndham/Point Cook area. The Victorian School Building Authority will host a community workshop on April 18 from 6.30-8pm at the Italian Sports Club of Werribee, 601 Heaths Road, Werribee. Or go to engage.vic.gov.au/PCarea to provide feedback.

Movie under the stars

The Truganina Rabbitohs Rugby League Club will be screening The Emoji Movie at the Clearwood Drive Sporting Pavillion, 51 Clearwood Drive, Truganina, on April 6. Gates open at 5.30pm, with the movie to begin at 6.30pm. Entry is a gold coin donation.

Jazz club 25th birthday

Seeking past members of the Werribee Jazz and Swing Club, now known as the Werribee Jazz Club, for the 25th birthday celebrations on Saturday, April 21.

Harmony Day Festival

Habitat on Davis Creek will celebrate cultural diversity with its very own Harmony Day Festival on April 14 from 4.30-7.30pm at the Habitat Sales and Information Centre, corner Sayers and Davis roads, Tarneit. The free community event will include Bollywood dancers, drumming workshops, a spectacular Chinese dragon, henna tattoos and origami workshops for the kids. A range of food trucks will serve half-price food and there will be free tea and coffee.
