Wit Kids drama classes are back, helping children learn improvisation, mime, theatre sports and drama games. Run by professional theatre company wit incorporated, classes are held on Mondays and Tuesdays at the Braybrook Community Hub and on Wednesday at the Maribrynong Community Centre for $40 a term.

Book sale

Friends of Williamstown and Newport Libraries will hold their first book sale of the year on Saturday, February 10, from 10am-12.45pm in the Friends room at Williamstown library. Reasonable prices and children’s books at five for $1.

Poetry night

Poetry @ The Night Heron invites everyone with an interest in poetry, spoken word
and the written word to join in on the second Tuesday of the month from February 13.

Musicians welcome

Do you play bari-sax, percussion, clarinet or trumpet? The Hobsons Bay City Band is seeking musicians. Rehearsals are held on Mondays from 7.30pm at Newport Lakes Primary School. Visitors and interested musicians any age welcome.
