Get your sing on

Werribee Community Singers will resume practice sessions on Wednesday, February 7, at Central Community Centre, Lonsdale Circuit, Hoppers Crossing, from 7-9.30pm. New singers welcome, no experience needed. We sing acapella. No auditions. Come along if you are looking for a fun group to sing with.

Would you like to help newly arrived adult migrants and refugees learn English and life in Australia? Learning for Employment needs volunteers for one or two hours a week, across Melbourne’s west as part of the Adult Migrant English Program. Free training provided.

Classic cars

The Werribee and District Collectable Vehicle Club hosts free monthly meetings the last Sunday of every month at Cherry Street carpark in Werribee. Owners of classic and vintage cars are invited to bring their cars along. The next meeting will be held on Sunday, January 28 from 9am-noon.

Rhythm of Africa

Now in its 21st year, Rhythm of Africa has become a must-do summer tradition at Werribee Open Range Zoo. Families and friends enjoy live music, children’s activities and picnics. The summer concert series runs every Saturday night until February 24. Bookings essential. Tickets cost $18 for children and $36 for adults. Gates open at 5.30pm.
