Amnesty on show

Amnesty Australia will be hosting a stall at the Sydenham Kite Festival on Sunday, November 12 at Delahey Recreational Reserve from 11am to 4pm, where it looks forward to meeting the public and informing locals about the work of Amnesty Australia. The Watergardens Group will be offering free children’s kites to decorate, lucky dips and other giveaways.

Sunrise Women’s Carers Group

Sunrise Women’s Carers Group is a support group for women living in the west who provide care to someone with a disability, mental illness and/or chronic health condition. They meet fortnightly on a Tuesday at the Melton library.

Gardening workshop

Bunnings will provide coaching at the Bloomdale Land Sales Centre on November 11 from 11.30am-12.30pm on how to grow vegie and herb gardens.

Inclusive movement classes

Guided movement workshops are an opportunity to have fun and explore your own way of moving. No experience necessary. Bring a friend, a support worker, or both. Open to adults with and without disability. At Rockbank Hall, November, 14 at 10am.

Anxiety Support Group

This support group offers support, information and self-help for people with obsessive compulsive, social anxiety, panic, generalised anxiety disorders and much more. Carers, family members and friends also welcome. At Hillside Community Centre, November 14 at 7.30pm.
