Join Probus

The Wyndham Probus club is dedicated to advancing intellectual and cultural interests among people who have retired or are semi-retired. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at the Kelly Park Community Centre, Synnot Street, Werribee. New members are welcome.

Cyber safety workshop

Develop critical reasoning skills around what is safe to share online, and with whom, at the E-Smart Kids On and Off the Field cyber safety workshop on September 3 from 11am-1pm at Chirnside Park, Watton Street, Werribee.

Lung support group

Western Breathers for Life welcomes anyone with breathing difficulties due to lung disease to come along for a cuppa, chat and support. Meet at the Kelly Park Community Centre next to the Werribee RSL on Synnot Street, Werribee, on the second Friday of every month from 10am-noon.

Planning ahead

Uniting AgeWell Manor Lakes Community is hosting an information session about grief and loss on September 3, from 2-4pm, at 15 Buffalo Crescent, Wyndham Vale. Learn about support groups or professional help, to look after yourself or help a person who is experiencing grief and loss.

Wyndham Learning Festival

Try your hand at cooking classes, arts and crafts, a digital photography bus tour, Wayapa workshops, karate classes, hip hop for boys, a young scientist competition or Rhyme Time at the Zoo, during the Wyndham Learning Festival, which will run between September 1-8. Now in its third year, the festival program features more than 100 events to be held across Wyndham, with each encouraging residents to learn something new.
