DETECTIVES have found a car stolen from a woman who was brutally bashed in a terrifying home robbery in Wyndham Vale last night.
The car was found at 8am, dumped in grassland in Black Forest Road near Haines Drive, about two kilometres away from her house.
Three masked men, including one armed with a gun, forced their way into the house and assaulted the 31-year-old about 10.30pm before stealing her car.
A police spokeswoman sad the woman had been inside the Feathertop Drive house with two other women, when the bandits, wearing balaclavas and hoodies, stormed in.
The men had a short conversation with the woman before striking her several times to her head and upper body.
Paramedics rushed the woman to Sunshine Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.
