Aleisha’s first in aid

ST John Ambulance cadet Aleisha King will represent Victoria in next year’s national cadet championships in Tasmania.

The Werribee 17-year-old joined other Wyndham cadets competing in first-aid scenarios at the recent state titles in Epping. Cadets aged 8-18 put their first-aid skills to the test to help simulated patients with injuries.

Three cadets aged 12-14 took home trophies, while Aleisha won her individual scenario.

The team trains every Tuesday night. More details: 8588 8588.
