POINT Cook, one of the newest expansion clubs in the Victorian Amateur Football Association, got hold of its first competition best-and-fairest medal in the senior ranks last night.
The Bulldogs, who featured in the division 4 finals for the first time at the weekend, ticked off a second milestone in a huge week when teenage star Jordan Lampi won the Meehan Medal vote count in a canter.
Lampi finished with 23 votes, five ahead of Eley Park Sharks duo David Bennett and Alastair Renshaw.
The Bulldogs other major vote-getters were Ricky Munn (eight), Daniel Burton (seven) and Jessi Lampi (seven).
