YOUNG talent Jordan Cooper is showing that golf isn’t just a game for older people.
Since first teeing off at the age of four, Cooper (pictured with Sanctuary Lakes golf director David Diaz) has taken his technique as far abroad as Germany, Italy, Finland and Thailand.
Cooper, 22, who joined Sanctuary Lakes Golf Club in 2008, reckons he’ll be ready to turn pro next year.
“I still love getting out and about in the sunshine, travelling, meeting new people … I even enjoy living out of a suitcase every now and again.”
Diaz said the club’s junior program was growing in popularity, with more than 50 golfers aged 5-16.
