Students at Werribee Secondary College have been recognised for their community spirit, after knocking on hundreds of doors to raise money for the Salvation Army. Kaelyn Robertson, Jonathan Huong, James Ireland, Ali Ansari, Nicole Jones and Bethany Bosanquet (pictured with Captain Lance Jeffrey) hit the streets to collect donations for the annual Red Shield Appeal and raised $3000. Captain Jeffrey last week presented students with encouragement awards and thanked them for their hard work. Money raised during the appeal helps the Salvos look out for vulnerable members of the community by providing food, help and support.
