PAST and present members of Werribee’s University of the Third Age gathered at Werribee Racecourse to celebrate the adult education program’s 20th anniversary.
Among those at last week’s celebrations were president Brian Beck, Alex Bain, secretary Loretta Sayer, vice-president Sandra Cooper, Serita Mudford, Walter Eacott and Elaine Somerville (pictured).
Mrs Sayer says Werribee’s U3A encourages elderly residents to continue their education and keep their minds active. “We are raising awareness that education and mental stimulation goes on throughout your life.”
