Fear after shooters hit cars, houses

POLICE fear someone could be seriously injured or killed after a series of apparently random shootings in Wyndham. Houses and vehicles in Truganina, Hoppers Crossing and Tarneit were targeted between April 14 and June 29.

The first shooting was in Doynton Parade, Hoppers Crossing, on April 14, followed two days later by a shooting at a house in Westmeadows Lane, Truganina.

On May 24, police were told of bullet holes in a vehicle and garage door in Hogans Road, Tarneit.

A single shot was fired at a house in Hogans Road, Hoppers Crossing on June7. The latest incident was at a house in Sayers Road, Truganina between June 27-29. Detectives believe the shootings are related.
