It’s Sherrin share alike

WESTERN Bulldogs stars were kicking goals for harmony on a recent visit to schools across Melbourne’s west.

Will Minson and Mark Austin took part in the series of football clinics and leadership talks.

The visits introduced some pupils to AFL, while the star appeal of the players was a drawcard for those who are already fans of the game.

The players taught the pupils, including Footscray Primary’s Elbeteel and Samuel (pictured), skills like fair play, teamwork and leadership.

The sessions were run in partnership with 60 Victoria University bachelor of education students, who deliver the Bulldogs

Friendly Schools Program as part of their professional experience placement in schools.
