JAYDEN Kinces, 15, deputy mayor Glenn Goodfellow and Marlene Cameron (pictured) are preparing Werribee’s gathering place for National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee (NAIDOC) Week celebrations.
The Wedge Street centre will host a flag-raising ceremony on July 2 at 6.30pm.
Performing at the cultural centre until 8.30pm will be 2001 NAIDOC indigenous person of the year Kutcha Edwards. Details: 97420777.
