PARENTS of children aged up to 12 months are being invited to take part in a ‘welcoming the babies’ ceremony next month.
Families will each receive a certificate and information pack.
Prime Minister and Lalor MP Julia Gillard said the ceremony was a way to publicly recognise the hard work mums and dads put into raising a family.
The ceremony also provides families with a chance to learn more about local support services. Places are limited. Bookings: 97425800.
