About 30,000 homes and businesses in Werribee, Tarneit, Werribee South and Hoppers Crossing will have access to the National Broadband Network by June 30, 2015.
NBN Co last week announced the progressive rollout of the fibre network to 3.5 million homes across the country over the next three years.
Prime Minister and Lalor MP Julia Gillard said the rollout would help Wyndham families access better health and aged-care services and education, while businesses will be able to connect with new markets.
