WERRIBEE Devils are two from two in the Victorian Basketball League Big V men’s division 1.
Young gun Josh Oswald was instrumental with 19 points and 13 rebounds in the Devils’ 67-53 win over Sunbury Jets in the second round at Werribee on Saturday night.
The keys to the Devils’ victory was a lopsided 58-25 rebound count and incessant pressure on the defensive end in the last period that restricted the Jets to three points on 1-of-12 shooting.
The Devils face a stern test on the road against Geelong on Sunday.
