El Houris keeping it in the family

BROTHERS Johnny and George El Houri (pictured) were so touched by a customer’s experience with leukaemia that they decided to part with their locks for the World’s Greatest Shave.

The brothers, who run a Laverton North cafe, then convinced their father Emile (also pictured) to do his bit for the Leukaemia Foundation and the trio shaved their heads last Thursday, raising more than $1500. George said taking part in the shave was his way of helping out.

“Sometimes we complain and whinge about things, but there are families and kids doing it tough.

I wanted to do what I could to make a difference.”
