THOUSANDS of music lovers were at Werribee Park on Saturday to enjoy sunshine and rock’n’roll at the annual Legends on the Lawn concert, featuring performers including Daryl Braithwaite, Jon Stevens, James Reyne and Joe Camilleri.
The event, in its third year, is funded by Wyndham Council.
Cr John Menegazzo said a crowd of close to 6000 showed it had become one of Wyndham’s signature events. “It was an absolute ripper of a day,” he said.
“The four legends were incredible, the crowd was really well behaved, and there was a great reaction when Daryl Braithwaite came back on for an encore to sing Horses.”
