Variety the spice of life at Wyndham Multicultural Fiesta

EVERYTHING from saris to Karen cooking and Ethiopian coffee ceremonies will be on display at the Wyndham Multicultural Fiesta later this month.

The fiesta is part of Cultural Diversity Week and is a chance for residents to get a feel for the municipality’s different cultures and traditions.

More than 25per cent of Wyndham residents were born in a non-English speaking country and more than 100 languages other than English are spoken by residents.

Helping prepare Werribee Park for the event are Clarine Anslum, Rafam, 10, Hanan Rehan, Sura Alobaidi, Areej, 6, and Maesie Karenni (pictured).

The fiesta is on Sunday, March 25 from 11am-4pm at Werribee Park, K Road, Werribee South. Details: 97420777.
