Car thefts arrest
Wyndham’s burglary crime team officers arrested a 32-year-old Hoppers Crossing man after a series of house burglaries at Point Cook. The man was arrested on May 19 and a number of stolen vehicles were allegedly found in his possession.
Charges linked to video
A 14-year-old girl was charged with theft of a motor vehicle and breaching her bail curfew by police patrolling Hoppers Lane, Werribee, on May 11. Police said they saw the girl walking away from a vehicle on Hoppers Lane about 4.10am. It is alleged the girl told police that she was walking home from a friend’s house but a search of the girl’s phone uncovered a video of her in the car.
