Dancin man
Travel back through time to an era when dance and music had style, grace and charisma with Luke Alleva’s one‐man show, The Dancin Man, at Wyndham Cultural Centre, Watton Street, Werribee, at 8pm on May 30. The show celebrates the iconic legends of stage and screen, including Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Junior. Tickets are $35.
Werribee Central Tennis Club is holding its 18th Annual Ladies Round Robin Tournament in conjunction with the Cancer Council’s “Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea” at 95 Shaws Road, Werribee from 9.30am on May 28. Cost is $5 per player, or $2 gold coin donation for non-players. All proceeds raised will go to the Cancer Council of Victoria.

Mums and bubs movie sessions

Art exhibition
The Wyndham Art Prize exhibition is open at Wyndham Cultural Centre, 177 Watton Street, Werribee, from May 14 to June 28. The exhibition showcases local, national and international artists and will be judged by McClelland Galleries’ senior curator Penny Teale.

Senior drivers expo
The RoadSafe Westgate Community Road Safety Council will host a senior drivers expo from 9.45am on June 13 at Hobsons Bay council civic offices, 115 Civic Parade, Altona. Participants get a free and confidential driving assessment in their own car and an assessment of their car’s roadworthiness. There will also be information about road laws, health, and the effects of medicines. A free lunch is provided. Places are limited so bookings are essential.

If it needs to be screwed, glued, nailed or welded, bring it to Werribee Men’s Shed, which is open every second Saturday of the month. It’s free and there’s no need to book.
