Dawn service

You’re invited to help mark the 100th anniversary of the landing of troops at Gallipoli at Wyndham’s Anzac Day dawn service at the cenotaph in Station Place, Werribee, on Saturday. There will be a breakfast at Kelly Park Community Centre afterwards.

School theatre

Students from Thomas Carr College will perform two shows, Black Comedy, a witty tale in which reversed lighting is far from the only surprise, and A Mad Breakfast, a chaotic farce of sly tricksters and practical jokes gone awry … the performances are from April 29 to May 1, 7.30pm. Mansion physio run

Entries are open for MyPhysio Werribee Mansion Run on May 3. The event caters for all levels of fitness and all members of the family and includes 11-kilometre and 5.5-kilometre courses, a 3.5-kilometre run/walk and a 1.2-kilometre dash for children. Entries start at $15 and increase to $35 for the 5.5- and 11-kilometre events.

Comedy roadshow

Be prepared for laughs aplenty when the Melbourne Comedy Festival Roadshow arrives in Wyndham on Saturday. Comedians Bob Franklin, Tom Ballard, Greg Behrendt and David Quick will be among those on stage at Wyndham Cultural Centre from 8pm. Tickets are $33 for adults,
$19 for under 25s and $15 for school children. Concession cardholders and groups of 10 or more can book tickets for $25 each.
