Fromage A Trois festival: Smile and say cheese

Australia’s leading cheese and cider producers will again gather at Werribee Park for the Fromage A Trois festival on March 15.

Let the bubbles of fresh cider tickle your nose as you picnic and enjoy live music with friends while savouring a mouth-watering selection of gourmet cheeses.

With more than 50 exhibitors from Australia’s finest specialist cheese and cider producers and opportunities to get involved and “meet the makers”, a day out at Fromage A Trois will have you nibbling your way through some of this country’s best local produce.

Between cheese tastings you can also stop and take in some of the offerings from Melbourne’s best food trucks and grab a crisp cold cider to wash it all down.

Watch fresh mozzarella being stretched right before your eyes and sausages being stuffed by the experts, with plenty of samples and enough sweet and savoury delights to satisfy everyone’s tastes. Wander around and stock up your basket with the freshest produce, then spread out your blanket and enjoy a picnic with family and friends.

Pre-purchase tickets are available for $35 and include an official tasting glass and event guide, or you can buy tickets for $40 at the gate. Children 12 and under are admitted free.
