Werribee pipped Lalor 76-74 for a thrilling victory on the final day of Bowls Victoria division 1’s home-and-aways.
The Bees will enter the finals with a head of steam after consecutive wins. They meet Melton in an all-west semi-final on Saturday.
Hoppers finished the division 2 season on a high note with a 93-77 win over Rosamond at home on Saturday.
Hoppers managed only six wins all summer but finished on a three-game winning run to retain its place in the division.
