Wyndham plan grows legs as Dutch officials visit

Dutch officials arrived in Wyndham last week to inspect the site of a proposed 205-hectare agricultural precinct at Woodhouse Station, near Eynesbury.

Developers plan to prepare a range of greenhouse sites ranging from five to 20 hectares.

Dutch Consul-General Willem Cosijn said there was a “real possibility” these would be taken up by relocating investors and growers from the Netherlands.

Committee for Wyndham chief executive Chris Potaris said the project had the potential to create up to 4000 new jobs and a new industry for the region.
