Bellbridge is skating on thin ice in the top four of Williamstown District Crickt Association A-turf cricket.
The Bridge is clinging to fourth by just two points and will be overtaken by Williamstown Congs if it loses the two-day battle between the two teams at Mossfield Reserve.
The Congs were bowled out for 127 on day one. Mark Croswell took 5-26 off 15 overs, including the wicket of top scorer Matthew Leach (62).
But Bellbridge’s delight was wiped away in the final 21 overs of the day and it staggered to stumps, to be 6-40.
In B-turf, bottom-of-the-ladder Tarneit’s rough summer continued when it conceded 4-377 to Gellibrand at Digman Reserve.
