Every month, a group of like-minded individuals get together to talk about models. But it’s not what you think.
These are the members of Wyndham’s Bayonet Military Model Club, a gathering of passionate modellers who build everything from wartime aircraft to armour and even science fiction and fantasy figures.
Secretary Kim Murray said those involved with the club were always willing to share their ideas and advice with fellow enthusiasts who were welcome to bring along their projects to meetings.
Last week, the club held its annual model competition and swap meet where they raised more than $4500 for the B-24 Liberator Restoration Fund.
