Felicity Ashman is encouraging Wyndham residents to pack a picnic and head to Kelly Park on Saturday, November 15, when they can browse market stalls, listen to live music and unwind as the sun goes down.
From next Saturday, Ms Ashman will host twilight markets from 4-9pm on the second Saturday of every month until March.
The event will feature performances from local musicians as part of the council’s ‘music in our city’ program.
Ms Ashman hopes the markets will become a family event.
