Volunteers are busy pruning 5000 roses ahead of the State Rose and Garden Show at Werribee Park next month.
The annual show is a chance for plant and gardening enthusiasts to pick up tips from rose experts, buy plants, talk to stallholders and enjoy the grounds of the State Rose Garden.
There will also be live jazz, children’s activities, and food, wine and afternoon tea for sale.
Last year’s inaugural show attracted more than 4000 people. This year’s show is on Sunday, November 16, from 10am-3pm.
