Wyndham residents stepped back in time on Sunday as the city celebrated its 150th anniversary.
Hundreds of people flocked to the civic centre for the council’s official celebration, taking part in horse and carriage rides and old-world games.
There was live music, vintage photo booths, a farmers’ market and a heritage trail through Werribee city centre.
Mayor Bob Fairclough said every activity had been planned to bring community members together to learn about Wyndham’s rich and diverse history.
He said the centrepiece of the celebration was an exhibition of Wyndham’s history featuring an interactive display of 85 panels dedicated to the events that helped shape Wyndham.
