Hoppers Crossing hoon off the road for 12 months

A Hoppers Crossing man has lost his driver’s licence for 12 months after being caught travelling at almost double the speed limit in an unregistered vehicle on Heaths Road last Sunday.

The 39-year-old, who was clocked at 110km/h in a 60km/h zone, received two $738 fines, one each for speeding and driving an unregistered vehicle, eight demerit points, and a one-year licence suspension.
