Werribee man killed in crash at Lockwood South

A Werribee man died when his car collided with a truck near Bendigo last Tuesday.

The man, 25, was driving south on the Calder Alternative Highway at Lockwood South when his car struck a north-bound truck.

Police believe the man’s car crossed to the wrong side of the road before the crash. The man, whose name has not been released, died at the scene.

The truck driver, a man in his 50s, is assisting police.
