Tarneit man, 44, charged after police raids

Following a nine-month investigation, police have charged a Tarneit man, 44, with several offences after raids on properties across Wyndham and Hobsons Bay on September 18.

He was arrested as a result of searching a retail outlet in Bladin Street, Laverton, and a house in Seasons Boulevard, Tarneit, during which police found what are alleged to be stolen property and proceeds of crime.

The man was charged with handling stolen goods, incitement to handle stolen goods and weapons offences. He was bailed to Melbourne Magistrates Court in January.
