Bus tours for newly arrived residents and regular ‘know your neighbour’ sessions are among initiatives outlined in Wyndham council’s draft four-year multicultural policy and action plan endorsed by councillors last week.
Three out of 10 Wyndham residents speak a language other than English at home and more than 50,000 were born overseas.
