FILM: Director’s historic set ready-made at Werribee Park

There was drama at Werribee Park last week, but it was no cause for alarm.

It was all in the name of filmmaking, with students from the Victorian College of Arts shooting a 1940s-era short film at the historic mansion.

The film, At Last, explores a young woman’s struggle to confront her fractured relationship with her mother before leaving her upper-class country home.

It will be screened later this year at Melbourne’s Australian Centre for the Moving Image.
