Werribee Park’s Live on the Lawn concert is getting a country makeover.
Some of Australia’s biggest country-rock acts will perform at the annual outdoor concert next February.
Among them will be Golden Guitar winners Lee Kernaghan, Kasey Chambers and Adam Brand (pictured).
The event, formerly known as Legends on the Lawn, will be held on the great lawn at Werribee Park on Sunday, February 22.
Wyndham mayor Bob Fairclough said Live on the Lawn would showcase the cream of Australian country-rock. “It will be a unique event for Victoria … Live on the Lawn is so much more than the usual stadium show.”
He said the concert, now in its fifth year, gave people a chance to experience live music while enjoying a picnic with family and friends. Tickets go on sale on September 17.
