Werribee will be relegated from the Hockey Victoria men’s Vic League 1 competition.
The Tigers lost 6-4 to Brunswick on the road on Saturday, despite Sam Huxtable and Josh Pace scoring two goals each. In the women’s Vic League 2, Werribee’s chances of a finals berth were harmed in a 2-2 draw with fourth-placed Casey at home.
The Tigers are two points outside the four with one round remaining.
