Commonwealth Games: Russell Mark falls in qualifying

Hoppers Crossing shooter Russell Mark’s Commonwealth Games career came to an end in the double trap qualifier.

Mark, 50, finished 10th to miss the semi-finals.

The Australian shooting legend (below) scored 123 points over five rounds – five outside the top six.

Earlier in the Games, his wife Lauryn missed the final of the women’s skeet event.
