Fences and street signs on Duncans Road have been targeted by vandals in a late-night graffiti spree.
Signs and fences along the road from Werribee Secondary College to Werribee South were sprayed with tags during the attack on July 8.
Constable Josh Stalk said police were reviewing CCTV of one of the incidents.
He said the footage showed two men carrying out the vandalism about 11.20pm.
Constable Stalk said two tags, ‘Droes’ and ‘Hecks’, had been sprayed on the signs and fences.
He said photographs of the tags had been added to a police database.
The graffiti has been reported to Wyndham council to be cleaned up.
A Werribee South resident, who asked not to be named, said it was disappointing to see such a long stretch of graffiti while driving along Duncans Road.
The resident said many signs and fences had been covered in red paint.
“I hope [the vandals] would think again before spraying graffiti everywhere.
“They’ve made a mess. I hope that knowing they have been caught on CCTV encourages them or someone with further information to come forward.”
Werribee South residents reported seeing the men walking along Duncans Road, away from the Werribee CBD.
Constable Stalk said one of the men captured on CCTV was of a solid build, while the second man was skinnier.
