Hockey Victoria: Werribee mauled 4-1 by Yarra Valley

Werribee has plenty of ground to make up if it is to reach the Hockey Victoria men’s league 1 finals.

The Tigers slipped further off the pace after a 4-1 mauling from Yarra Valley away on Saturday.

It was better news in women’s league 2, with Werribee blanking RMIT 5-0 on their short trip to McIvor Reserve. Cath Gladman scored two goals to lead her team.

She has eight for the season.
