If you’ve ever wondered how to brew your own cider or raise chickens in your own backyard, then winter is perfect for you.
Wyndham council is holding winter weekend workshops at which residents can learn about a wide range of activities.
Councillor Adele Hegedich said the workshops would cost participants $5.
“[These] workshops will allow our residents to learn a new skill, meet new people and familiarise themselves with their local community centre,”
Cr Hegedich said.
The workshops would also give residents a chance to check out their local community centres.
Other workshops will include, making gift cards, killer cupcake decoration, harmonica blues for beginners, yarn bombing, modern henna and blogging basics.
“I encourage people to check out the calendar of events and see what workshop appeals to them,”
Cr Hegedich said.
“With Wyndham growing so rapidly, these workshops are an ideal way to get to know your neighbours and your neighbourhood.”
