‘Obscene’ vandalism as 15 cars, 10 houses hit in Werribee

Police are investigating the vandalising of up to 15 cars and 10 houses in a Werribee street after residents woke to find property covered in crude language last week.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Unit were calling for witnesses after they received reports of vandalism in the early hours of Monday morning.

A resident of Conquest Drive, where most of the damage was caused, said extremely obscene language was spray-painted on property.

Senior Constable Melissa Seach said police were searching for three men.

“Investigators believe three men were in the area at the time and are keen to speak to them,” he said.

The first man is described as Caucasian, aged about 40, of medium build with grey hair and unshaven. He had a cut on his forehead and was wearing black clothing.

The other two men are believed to be aged 15 to 20.

One was wearing a black tracksuit, the other a black leather jacket.
