Werribee City has pulled off its second win of the season, defeating the highly fancied Melbourne Knights 2-1 at Knights Stadium on Sunday.
The scores were 0-0 at half-time before Knights midfielder James McGarry put them in front. Bees Steven Cudrig got the equaliser in the 85th minute and two minutes later ex-Knight Ryan Filipovic scored from a penalty kick.
The Bees this week face Bentleigh Greens at home.
