More than 100 golfers took to the green at Sanctuary Lakes Golf Club last Friday to raise money for disability support group Mambourin.
Organised by Friends of Mambourin’s John and Jeanne Burbidge, the annual golf day provides Mambourin with money to teach its clients life skills and find them worthwhile employment. Sanctuary Lakes already employs one of the group’s gardening teams to help with maintenance around the resort.
The event has raised more than $118,000 over eight years.
