A stamp designed by MacKillop College’s Celina Harrower will be printed by Australia Post to mark the G20 Summit.
The year 11 student was last week announced as the winner of a nationwide competition to design a stamp ahead of the economic summit to be held in Brisbane in November next year.
Celina based her stamp on a photograph of Brisbane and tried to include the themes of reflection and inclusion.
Josh Frydenberg, parliamentary secretary to the Prime Minister, said Celina’s stamp captured the significance of the summit and the role of Brisbane as host city.
Her achievement will be officially recognised by the school and Prime Minister’s office early next year.
