WDCA: Bellbridge too good for Williamstown Congs

Bellbridge is hot on the heels of the Williamstown and District Cricket Association A turf top four after a 90-run win over Williamstown Congs at KC White Reserve on Saturday.

The ’Bridge posted 190 on the back of a half century to Ben Powell (56) and contributions from Mark Croswell (39) and Scott Walker (38).

The Congs were rolled for 100 in reply, with Croswell and Andrew Wilks taking three wickets apiece, but they avoided an outright defeat with 3-171 in their second dig.
