Rather than paint the town red for Christmas, Wyndham artists Uma Barry and Janet Knight have used every colour available to brighten their end-of-year exhibition.
The duo will display landscapes and contemporary works in various mediums as part of In Fine Art.
Knight recently featured on Channel 74 lifestyle TV show Colour In Your Life, which will soon air on Foxtel and internationally.
One of the works she produced for the show will be on display at the exhibition this weekend. “I wasn’t nervous on the show, I really enjoyed myself,” Knight said.
“Painting is my life, I couldn’t imagine life without it. “Some paintings can take 50 hours to complete, some have fine detail like the fronds on a fern.
“Uma has been exhibiting for 30 years and I have been doing it for 25 years. We have joined forces for what we hope will be an annual event.”
The exhibition is at Knight’s studio gallery at 93 Princes Highway, Werribee, from 10am to 5pm this Saturday and Sunday.
