A trip to treat tastebuds

Cider brewers and cheesemakers will take over Werribee Park next February for the western suburbs’ first cheese and cider festival.

‘Fromage a Trois – Cheese, Cider and You’ will bring together cheese and cider makers, boutique brewers and winemakers to showcase the best produce from the western suburbs and around Australia.

Among the stallholders will be Donna Hinchcliffe, of Cheeselinks.

The Little River-based business runs classes and provides cheese and yoghurt makers with ingredients and equipment to make their produce.

The event will also include classes from acclaimed author, cider-maker and wine critic Max Allen. The festival is on February 2 from 11am-6pm.
