Uzziah’s sense of belonging on show at Warringa Park

Close your eyes, feel nature and paint an artwork – that’s the world of blind artist Uzziah, who is making his mark as a special-needs pupil at Warringa Park School in Hoppers Crossing.

Staff walk him around his physical environment, where he feels things such as leaves and chooses textures to create abstract landscape paintings.

His works will be among those displayed at the school’s art exhibition on Thursday, from 4.30pm.

The exhibition is a celebration of the achievements of students aged 5-18.
